Description

Explore the fascinating divide between watersheds as Steve and Dave lead a hike, delving into the distinctive paths of two watersheds. One watershed leads to the Tuscarawas River, eventually merging into the Ohio River, then the Mississippi River, and ultimately flowing into the Gulf of Mexico. The other watershed leads to the Cuyahoga River, onward to Lake Erie, and further into the Saint Lawrence Seaway before reaching the Atlantic Ocean.

During the hike, Steve and Dave's passion for nature and geology will shine through as they discuss rock formations exposed from the last ice advance into Ohio. The Wisconsin Glaciation, which began approximately 35,000 years ago and concluded around 12,000 years ago, will be a focal point of their exploration, offering valuable insights into the region's geological history. Don't miss this enlightening hike as you uncover the natural forces that have shaped the landscape over millennia.
